I think it's a defective batch I've never experienced this, after application and curing it's runny not insulating and I had to reapply and different one. Then O. K.

I've had several mounting foams (and another Den Braven) and they were all white. With this one, I was surprised that it is green as ufons, which is not even mentioned anywhere on the packaging. But otherwise the foam is very easy to work with and holds its shape very well. Overall, I can recommend it.
