It works great, however, as someone already wrote here, you need to push the bait really deep into the hole. If you just stab it on the jagged edge, there is a good chance that the mouse will survive, you wake up and hear how the mouse is thrashing about half-dead and trying to get away. It' s not nice. But as I write, it can be avoided.

I bought another one, otherwise I have been using it with success and satisfaction for about 10 years. This trap is like the famous Old Shatterhand repeater. You aim, you always hit, and you reload immediately, ad infinitum. I threw the classic traps in the stove a long time ago. And by the way, if anyone is still figuring out bait, remember once and for all, stick 1/4 of a walnut in the "cup" in the middle of the trap. So that it holds well and a little over, 100%. There is no better bait. Good hunting!
