The Beurer EM 41 digital massage device is a first-class electro-stimulator for stimulation od muscles and nerves. It helps to effectively relieve pain and to maintain good health condition, relaxes muscle tension and provides a pleasant massage. The EM 41 offers three basic functions that can be combined together. The first function is for electrical stimulation of nervous pathways (TENS), the second for electrical stimulation of muscle tissue (EMS) and the third function is for a massage effect induced by electrical signals. Electrostimulation devices work on the principle of imitation of natural bodily impulses that are transmitted through the skin to the nerve and muscle fibers via electrodes.

The TENS method is clinically tested and recommended for the treatment of back pain, especially in the area of lumbar and cervical spine, joint pain, headache, locomotor injuries or menstrual cramps. The EMS muscle stimulation method is performed, for example, in muscle training to increase endurance or to help strengthen certain muscles, but it can also be used for relaxation of muscle overstrain or fatigue.
