Not one of the 18 bags I purchased had any larger stones in it as someone mentioned in the reviews below. Sand is perfectly fine for building bundt cakes. I can highly recommend it with a clear conscience.

Fine sand, at a fairly decent price. It is just wet enough to make pancakes. Quantity 2 bags just right for a plastic sandbox. I've found little stones here and there, but I don't think that's a bad thing.
