It was a gift, so I don' t know. However, I know that it is a branded glucometer and we also have a Beurer, although much older, but it still works. I bought this tip that has three in one. A pen on one side, the glucometer itself on the other, and Flash in the middle. Which is great. I have a separate pen. I would recommend this all-in-one tip, especially for beginners and advanced users.
