are considering donating the drone to UA and then buying the Mini 2, which looks the same but supposedly goes farther and has more features (but is more expensive)
the combo makes sense, of course the battery doesn't last very long so a spare is useful
the drone is very easy to control, good for a beginner
probably a good bureaucratic category of drone, which allows to fly in cities (but I don't vouch for this information, understanding the regulations is complicated)
the drone is fast
the drone is durable
it's a great toy for big boys
the range is small, over 1km I managed to safely get on a hill in the middle of a meadow in undeveloped countryside. Over a village or forest the range is max hundreds of meters, in the city not even that. But if you overdo it, he'll come home alone
file transfer from the drone to the PC is a bit tricky (it is done classically via a slow cable as in 2010)
