I bought the drive as a second M2 ssd for a Gigabyte motherboard. After installation, the HD activity light flashed as standard, e.g. when booting, opening applications, or saving and reading data. However, if no actions were in progress, the light did not go out, but remained on permanently. On the disk itself is integrated a small green LED, which indicated the activity of the disk virtually identical to the main LED on the front panel and also permanently lit up after the end of the activities. I returned the drive and bought a Samsung 970 EVO Plus, where this problem does not occur.
