Since the switch on the underside of the vacuum cleaner handle has to be pressed to activate the UV light, I think the switch contacts on the wheels are unnecessary. If I wanted to use UV light to eliminate mites etc. on the sides of the mattress, I'm out of luck, because the switch contacts are on the edges of the bottom of the vacuum cleaner, outside (in the air) the vacuumed area. Nor will I do the same on the backs of chairs, sofas, etc. Considering how "small" the suction area is, I would expect that the manual switch on the handle should be sufficient to activate the UV light, without further operation safety.
