I bought these speakers for my computer as I thought they would sound decent/neutral for the money. I was wrong. If they are placed in a suitable space, the bass component is surprisingly well represented (don't expect sub-bass, of course), the mids are passable, the highs are crazy. The manufacturer specifies a range of 50Hz to 20kHz. Of course, it doesn't specify the attenuation anywhere, so don't expect almost anything up to about 100Hz (although at 50Hz it can vibrate the table nicely), the mids are quite decent, the highs really "go out" around 14kHz (huge attenuation already at 13.5kHz). So they hardly meet the HiFi standard (standard from 1966). Nobody can measure 20kHz on them for sure, because it ends 6kHz lower (just silence, the microphone doesn't measure anything). But it makes sense, of course, with 4" drivers it is not realistic to oscillate the diaphragms to such a high frequency (anyone who has ever seen decent speakers for listening to music knows that they are fitted with a small calotte, top, ribbon, at most some small paper). For gamers probably good, soundstage is surprisingly excellent, processing is decent. I wouldn't recommend them for music though.
Very decent workmanship
Decent midrange
Surprisingly good bass range when well placed
BT connectivity
Relatively high quality cabling
Bassreflex to the front (you don't address the space behind the speakers)
Nice shape, design, practical dimensions
Input for additional AUX devices
Headphone output (with microphone)
Pleasant control (does not feel so cheap)
The frequency range of 50Hz to 20kHz is completely out (realistically it ends at 14kHz).
You won't find the real power anywhere (the adapter is at 30W)
Considering the price, you can get much better and more accurate speakers (e.g. M-Audio)
