Configuration is done via barcodes, which is nice. The package contains only basic instructions, the complete manual must be downloaded from the manufacturer's website (in Czech). Unfortunately, the instructions are sparse on explanations, so you have to experiment.

The really big advantage I see is that the scanner is able to scan 1D barcodes in any position and you don't have to accurately target the red line, like with cheap readers. The wireless function is also super cool. In the manual you can then set up the reader, change the sound and volume of the pipani or change it to scan all the time when using it with a holder, for example.
