With this adapter, you get two USB 3.0 connectors from your internal USB 3.0 connector (19pin) to connect common peripherals. So if you need to connect such a device and you don't want to waste your external connectors, this adapter will make it happen. All you need is the right connector on your computer's motherboard, and you have 2 more USB 3.0 connectors.
