Laptop battery with brand-name battery cells

AVACOM now introduces laptop batteries built from PANASONIC and SONY high-capacity battery cells. These batteries have the same dimensions and weight as your standard laptop batteries, but their capacity is up 32% higher. For example, a 6-cell battery with an original battery capacity of 4400mAh is now available with these new cells, boosting its battery capacity to 5800mAh. The cells used in these new and improved batteries also have a longer service life compared to most types of cells used by renowned laptop manufacturers. 

Batteries made of high-quality components

The battery includes sophisticated electronics with double protection. This section controls the charging of individual cell branches and also protects them from overcharging or undercharging. With high-capacity cell batteries, laptop battery life becomes noticeably longer, so you don’t have to pack in a power adapter when travelling to meetings and appointments.

How to keep the battery in good condition
 

Keeping your battery in good condition

The battery is partially charged at the factory, yet its capacity and performance are below 100%. This is why, for optimal battery formatting, it is recommended to repeat the full charge/discharge cycle at least 3 times when you first start using it. Being permanently connected to the power supply reduces the battery capacity, so we recommend to disconnect the device from the mains at least occasionally. If the battery is not in use, charge it fully and store it in a dry place. Check it and recharge approximately every six months.

Potential causes of battery damage

One of the most common causes of battery degradation is when you deplete it completely and then put it away for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, do not charge it until you can do it at room temperature. Use the battery only with the devices it was designed for. Also make sure that the battery is not subjected to short circuits or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents, and moisture.

Dobrý den! Před necelým měsícem jsem zakoupil tuto baterii. Notebook používame cca 3x do týdne po krátkou dobu. Baterie byla nabita asi 3x (vždy cca z 30-35% na 95%). Dnes jsem se dostal na hodnotu 26% a windows mi ohlásil nízký stav baterie, než jsem stačil najít nabíječku, spadnula kapacita během cca 2 minut na 5% a za další minutu se NT vypnul. V NT mám aplikaci BatteryBar na hlídání stavu a kondici baterie, kde je rovněž info o opotřebení baterie. Tam byl vždy do dnes údaj opotřebení 0,0% z 42920mwh, po kolapsu je nyní opotřebení 9%. Vzhledem k tomu, že se baterie skládá z 5ks monočlánků,předpokládám,že jeden je asi mimo provoz. Je toto na reklamaci? Děkuji!
