High-quality AVACOM batteries for digital cameras
The AVACOM digital camera batteries contain only high-quality cells that offer high performance and long battery life. The batteries are equipped with gold-plated pins and the latest control electronics for trouble-free communication with the device. Furthermore, they contain a number of safety features, which prevent overcharging, over-discharge, overcurrent and short circuit. AVACOM batteries are not just a good replacement for your original battery - they usually offer higher capacity (and therefore longer battery life) than the original batteries.
How to keep the battery in good condition
The battery is partially charged at the factory, yet its capacity and performance are below 100%. Therefore, for optimal formatting of the battery, it is recommended to repeat the charge and discharge cycle at least 3 times. Being constantly plugged in also reduces the capacity of the battery, so we recommend occasional unplugging. If you do not use the battery, store it charged and in a dry environment. Check it again after six months and recharge it.
What causes damage to the batteries
One of the most common causes of dead batteries is when you store it completely discharged and do not use for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60 °C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5 °C, charge it only at room temperature. Only use the battery in the compatible devices, do not expose the battery to a short circuit or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemicals and moisture.
