When not using the battery, just store it in a dry place, but check and recharge it every six months.

Causes of battery damage

One of the most common causes of battery degradation is when you discharge it completely and then leave it unused for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C, and if the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, charge it only after reaching room temperature. Only use the battery in the devices for which it is intended. Also be careful that the battery is not subjected to a short circuit or higher discharge currents. Protect your battery from mechanical damage, chemical agents, and moisture.
