B+W circular for diameter 49mm MRC

This high-quality circular polarising filter, with a 49mm thread, is designed for use with both digital and classic film cameras. Designed for the toughest conditions, it features multilayer coatings, to deliver maximum image quality.

The polarising filter can be used to suppress or remove reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, and the like, and serves to protect the front lens. It also slightly brightens colours and improves overall image contrast. It is the ideal filter for shooting natural scenery, for example, to increase the contrast between blue sky and clouds, or when taking pictures through glass, and so on. The filter is grey, colour neutral - reducing lens luminance from 1 to 2 apertures by polarisation. The filter is circular and is suitable for analogue and digital cameras and camcorders with autofocus (AF) or an internal exposure metre (most modern DSLR's and cameras).

The filter is set in a swivel ring that can easily and conveniently adjust the polarisation direction.
