Sound Like in a Concert

The Bose 301 V Direct/Reflecting speakers are designed for stereo installation in a medium or large room, or for use in an entertainment centre. They use proprietary Direct/Reflecting technology to convey much of the power of a live performance. At a concert, you hear music through a mixture of direct and reflected sounds from different directions, in different proportions at different times. The Bose Direct/Reflecting speaker technology re-creates the experience of a concert performance by reflecting sound from walls and other flat objects.

Instead of concentrating the stereo effect to one spot of optimal listening, Stereo Everywhere delivers balanced stereo sound throughout the room, so you can enjoy great sound wherever you sit or stand.

Top-quality Drivers

The speakers use precisely angled, 2" proprietary drivers to deliver balanced stereo sound, so you can experience lifelike spaciousness throughout the listening area. They also have one rear-firing tweeter (2") that propels sound from the back and the side of the speaker and an 8" long-excursion woofer that delivers clean, powerful low frequencies and balanced sound throughout your room. Automatic protection circuitry prevents drivers from being overdriven and provides increased reliability while minimising interference with the listening experience.

Optimised Slot Port Design

The flared slot port design is engineered to reduce air turbulence. The woofer and port geometry complement each other, so you can enjoy clean, powerful sound at lower frequencies, particularly at high volume.
