This ultra-slim and lightweight 22mm wide-angle lens is designed to capture architecture, interiors and landscapes. It's perfect to use for daily photo reporting. With a wide-angle design, you can capture the whole scene in a single frame. Its true benefits can be seen when shooting in low light conditions. The high f/2 aperture allows you to capture the natural atmosphere of evening and night scenes without using flash or a tripod. This is the only real way to enjoy the freedom of taking pictures from your hand even in the dark of night.

Minimum light = the perfect shot

With the STM step motor and Servo AF function, you can also easily shoot high-quality movies. The combination of these two things makes focusing very quiet and smooth - so your films come out clear and with minimal blur.

Don't worry about distorted images because the aspherical lens elements correct all spherical defects. The images will be high-quality, sharp, high-contrast and distortion-free under all conditions, even in poor lighting conditions. The lens has a special Super Spectra coating applied to it to help ensure precise colour balance and high contrast. It also deals with any potential glares and image duplication.
