The D-Link DGS-1100-24 switch a great compromise between price and performance. It offers the basic Smart Switch functionality but is only slightly above the price of unmanaged switches. This fills the price and performance gaps that have recently emerged from expanding Smart Switch functionality. All settings can be done using intuitive web-based management, SNMP commands, and D-Link Network Assistant (DNA, Google Chrome applications).
It has 24 ports that operate at 10/100/1000 Mbps and offers support for features such as port mirroring, bandwidth control, or cabling diagnostics. It is designed for installation in a 11" rack, but it can also be installed separately. The transfer of larger data streams is optimized by QoS (Quality of Service) technology, so there will be no problem with IP telephony operation or when transferring HD video. The D-LINK DGS-1100-24 is designed without a fan and is therefore perfectly silent and is therefore suitable for installation in the office.
