Zenmuse X5

The DJI Inspire Pro 1 features new propellers with a smoother, more reliable locking mechanism that increases their longevity. The performance of the motor has also been improved, providing a greater degree of control.

The drone is equipped with an on-board Zenmuse X5R camera and gimbal system, along with a 15mm f/1.7 lens. The 3-axis gimbal ensures that the camera stays steady and pointed in the same direction as the quadcopter banks and turns. The Zenmuse X5 is able to capture 4K video and still photographs at resolutions up to 16MP. In-flight, the arms lift up to provide the camera with an unobstructed 360-degree view.

The transmitter, which controls the gimbal system and camera, has a maximum range of 2 km and is included in the package. 

Advanced Flight Control System

As with many other multi-rotor systems, the Inspire Pro 1 relies on a GPS-based stabilisation system that can hold a position even in difficult outdoor conditions. There is also an indoor mode which relies on a Vision Positioning System to provide stability indoors or in other environments where GPS is unavailable. The aerodynamic body, made from extremely lightweight and durable material, makes controlling the drone easier. It also ensures a longer flight time (up to 18 minutes) and a maximum speed of up to 22 m/s. The Dynamic Home Point function ensures that the device returns to base automatically. 

Choose Your Flight Mode 

Various intelligent flight modes are available to help you take the most amazing shots.  

P-mode uses the Vision Positioning System,  providing maximum stabilisation. The drone is brought home automatically in the event of GPS signal loss. 

A-mode uses only a barometric sensor to adjust altitude. The aircraft is also brought home automatically in the event of signal loss.

F-mode uses three flight functions.

Power is supplied by a 4500 mAh Intelligent Flight Battery, which displays the remaining power levels. The battery tracks the voltage of each cell, the total number of charges and discharges, and the overall health and status of the battery.

Control from a smartphone

The Zenmuse X5 and X5R are among the smallest Micro 4/3 cameras ever made and the only M4/3 cameras designed specifically for aerial imaging. Both can capture ultra-clear 4K video at up to 30 frames per second as well as photos at 16 megapixels in Adobe DNG RAW. All data is stored on a micro SD card, which is included in the package (16 GB).

Simply download a mobile app and take control of the drone.  The app can be downloaded to devices using OS or Android operating systems. The DJI go app gives you an unprecedented level of control over your camera while you fly. Use the intuitive auto focus mode to compose the perfect shot and change everything from focus to shutter speed and aperture with the tap of a finger.
