Edimax ES-3316P
This fast 16-port switch from Edimax is housed in a compact body and offers energy-efficient operation. It is suitable for use in medium-sized enterprise networks and workgroups where, in addition to speed, you will appreciate its smaller desktop design. The switch will improve connectivity and increase the bandwidth of your corporate network, ensuring that users no longer have to compete for the current bandwidth.
The switch is equipped with a total of 16 LAN ports with sufficient speed for most network applications. It supports IEEE 802.3x full duplex transmission which can double the network throughput on each port up to 200 Mbps and is therefore suitable for high-speed servers or switch-to-switch configurations. You can easily connect both 10 and 100Mbps devices, as the switch intelligently detects the cable type and adapts the speed according to the connected device.
The switch detects load on network traffic, inactive lines, and the length and type of cable in order to dynamically regulate power consumption according to current conditions and, in turn, save energy.The switch also excels with its silent operation.
