In 2016, GP Batteries launched a new generation of rechargeable batteries called ReCyko+ and ReCyko+ Pro. These batteries use state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and build upon the prior series of rechargeable batteries which were very successful and won many awards.

The ReCyko+ battery line offers a wide range of capacities or durability, enabling each user to get the optimum ratio between performance and price and operating costs. The AA 2700 (also AAA 1000) version of the batteries boasts one of the highest capacities available on the market. As a true representative of the GP Series ReCyko+, they are equipped with self-discharge and are pre-packaged, allowing them to be used immediately after unpacking or after being stored for a long period.

Key Product Features

These rechargeable NiMH GP batteries are immediately ready for use. This is due both to the quality of their production and to the increased ability to maintain their energy during storage.

Due to their minimal self-discharge effect, known as LSD (Low-Self-Discharge), the battery will retain up to 70% energy at room temperature after 2 years of storage. Simply recharge the battery again to gain a battery with a 100% charge.

With the proper use, rechargeable batteries can save you considerable financial costs. When compared to the purchase of non-rechargeable batteries with equivalent service life, these batteries could save you anywhere up to €800 over their life.

Each rechargeable battery is factory limited by an approximate number of charge cycles. When this number of cycles is reached, the battery capacity, or the battery's ability to conserve as much energy as possible, drops significantly.
