The Alpine iLX-700 is the first Alpine 2DIN drive to take advantage of the Apple CarPlay technology. Known applications
When you connect your iPhone, there are four preloaded Apple CarPlay apps: music, phone, maps and news.Basically, they work the same way as on the iPhone, but they were optimized to be used in the vehicle while driving. You can use the classic command to reach out to Siri and then listen to your favourite music, dictate SMS, ask for a route or call.

Apple CarPlay will show you the way to all parts of the world. The ultimate simplicity of Apple Maps will guide you through spoken instructions, interactive 3-D imaging, traffic conditions and estimated driving times - all from the dashboard. And when you start typing an address, Apple CarPlay uses different information to quickly predict the route.
