The Stanley FatMax tape measure is among the top in its class, not only because of its perfect design but also as it comes at an affordable price. The overall case is made of very durable plastic material with rubber panels for a more comfortable grip. The measuring tape has a special one Mylar finish, which extends its life up to 10 times more than that of conventional tape measures. In addition, it has a patented shape and a width that allows it to be pulled out by a length of 3.35m before it begins to bend under its own weight! The main benefit of this model, however, is the thermoplastic coating bearing the name BladeArmor. It protects the most used part of the tape from wear and reduces the risk of breakage by up to 95%.

The durable removable hook has a double stop and is fastened by three rivets, resulting in a 40% stronger connection than those tape measures with two-riveted feet. When hinged, this hook is even protected by a shock absorber. Of course, there is a sliding lock to fix the tape into position and a practical clip for belt fastening.
