The lab is another expansion of the top Pandemic cooperative game. This expansion adds a lot of other possibilities to the game, and lets you enjoy three game variants - laboratory scenario, team play and solo game.This expansion can only be played with the basic Pandemic game. 

Solo game

Do you dare to become the last defender of humankind? Can you save our civilization from a devastating pandemic? You will have an expert team from the Atlanta Disease Control Center who will act as a staunch player . You will perform one of several actions, such as exchanging cards with the player, inventing the drug, and more in each round. If you've become the Pandemic game hopeless devotee,youwillsurely appreciate this opportunity to play alone, without the teammates. 

Scenario Laboratory

In the lab you will be able to develop drugs much more efficiently than in the original Pandemic game. By treating illnesses on the main game plan, you get samples that you must process, multiply, and use in further research. An important element are the sequence cards that indicate which card can be used for which illness and what samples you need to collect. Drugtesting is the next step after successfuldevelopment. 

Team play

This variant of the game brings to the world of Pandemic a lot of competition . Players will be divided into two or three two-members teams and will compete against each other for prestige in the fight against disease. Each team will gain prestige for inventing medicine, eradicating disease or building research station.
