Vacuum Anytime, From Anywhere

Simply download the Neato application for free from Google Play or the App Store and install it onto your mobile phone or tablet. One account can connect multiple devices at once so that the vacuum cleaner can be controlled by anyone in your household. You can also add several robots to one account. The application lets you know of the vacuum's battery status and when the vacuuming has started and finished. And what are some other features for the Neato Botvac D3 Connected, you ask?

LaserSmart SLAM

LaserSmart technology and object detection in real time: a high precision laser continuously monitors and maps every room, including furniture, doors and even stairs. Based on the data collected, the robot vacuums from room to room in the most efficient way possible without missing a single centimeter of floor and effectively avoids obstacles.

Compared to vacuum cleaners with virtual wall detection, the Neato Botvac D3 Connected moves up to 4 times faster. A benefit with using laser technology is the vacuum's easy orientation in the dark, which is something other vacuums simply can't manage and results in an improper vacuum job that's not 100% efficient.

SPOT Mode

The robot's unique D-shape with Corner Clever technology enables seamless vacuuming at just 1cm away from both walls and corners. Other vacuums can only reach as close as 10cm from the wall, which is even further away when vacuuming corners. SpinFlow technology combines powerful suction performance with precision brushes for achieving the highest vacuuming effect.  

Did you happen to spill flour or rice all over your kitchen floor? Well, with SPOT mode, cleaning up a kitchen mess is super easy. Just place the Neato vacuum in front of the space you want to clean and it will take care of that mess within an area of ??2 × 2 or 4 × 4 meters. Dirt and debris are stored in a sufficiently large container with a volume of 0.77 litres, which is enough for approximately four vacuum cycles. 

Ideal for All Types of Floors

The brush with a width of 27.7cm is suitable for all types of surfaces, including carpets with fibers that are up to 2.5cm long. In addition, the brush copes well with tiled floors, linoleum, wood and laminate floors. The ability to transition between different surfaces is one of the Neato vacuum's trademark features. It can even handle doorsteps at a height of 2cm.

The Neato Botvac D3 vacuums in every room where you leave the door open and never misses anywhere, even while in complete darkness. In the event that the vacuuming can't be done all at once, it automatically recharges at its charging base and then continues exactly from where it left off. The largest surface area that the vacuum cleaner can handle for one cleaning cycle is 240m2. The robotic vacuum also has a nice integrated handle for making it easy to carry around the house.
