Perfect craftsmanship

The camera surface and its many buttons and control elements are made of metal, which ensures excellent grip and high durability. A tilt 3" LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 460,000 dots and excellent readability provides easy controls and great image previews from many angles. The new Live MOS sensor has an effective resolution of 16.1 Mpx, which means that the TruePic VI image processor can produce images up to 4608 x 3456 in size. ISO sensitivity ranges from 100 to 25,600. The device records Full HD video at 30 fps and with stereo sound.

Professional equipment

The extra compact M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 II R (35mm equiv. 28-84mm) zoom lens belongs to the third generation of basic lenses with an optimised design. The lens provides a 3x optical zoom in a very small and compact size. It features MSC technology, which delivers extremely fast, ultra-silent AF and zoom even in movie mode. It also provides excellent detail rendering throughout the entire photo frame regardless of the distance between objects (25 cm).

The camera set includes an easy to use external flash.
