The Omron RS8 accepts NFC and USB connections to transfer data to a laptop or PC to the online platform Bi-link.cz. There you can then manage and analyze your data from all Omron products (Sphygmomanometers, physical activity monitors, monitors that track the human body and glucometers). The Omron device employs a unique system of controlled inflation of the Intellisense cuff. It performs two measurements of blood pressure during one measuring cycle. First when inflating the cuff and the second during release. Through this method, dual measurement results are always more accurate. The Intellisense system is also suitable for people with certain types of cardiac arrhythmias (heart rhythm disorders). Arrhythmias are captured and displayed.

The device allows you to keep a partitioned memory for the recorded measurements of two people, including the dates and times of measurements. For objective results, e.g. during fluctuating blood pressure, it provides the average value, namely the average of three measurements during a 10-minutes period. A pressure gauge helps reveal the risk of hypertension in the morning, which is for the human body particularly stressful. Measurement errors caused by improper tightening the cuffs or inappropriate movement during measurement are also highlighted.
