ALAVIS Hemagel 7g
The unique composition of the product allows you to chemically bind oxygen radicals, which are formed during inflammatory processes, accelerates the wound healing process, reduces the risk of complicated healing and suppresses pain in the wound. It creates a surface layer that acts like a second skin, thus helping to protect against external influences and creating a favorable environment for the healing of both acute and chronic wounds (eg. postoperative and other skin damage). A wet environment in the treatment of wounds is modern and at the same time the basic essence of treatment. Stable moisture in the wound prevents the formation of scabs and thus helps speed up the healing process.

Ingredients
ALAVIS Hemagel is a hydrophilic methacrylate gel based on a cross-linked copolymer of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate containing polymer-bound sterically shielded amino groups, developed by the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the ASCR.
Method of use:
- Clean the wound from mechanical impurities, e. g. dust particles, the rest of previous treatment materials, which could subsequently irritate and damage the wound.
- Open the tube by injection using the turned cap.
- Apply a small amount of gel to the entire base of the wound. The gel adheres to the base of the wound and gradually absorbs secretions and other fluids from the wound.
- Apply the gel as needed at least once every 24 hours
- After a higher effect, it is advisable to cover the wound with a sterile square, preferably of non-woven fabric. Fixation materials should extend about 1 cm over the edge of the wound. Carry out the bandage as required after 24 hours at the latest until the problem disappears. For infected wounds, we recommend more frequent dressing changes.
- The application of the gel does not replace the administration of antibiotics in heavily infected wounds.
- The effect of the gel is manifested by swelling. The unique gel technology prevents sticking to the wound and thus allows very easy removal without pain by gentle wiping.
- Follow your veterinarian' s recommendations.
Warning:
The product is autosterile - it can be used throughout its shelf life after opening. No side effects such as allergies, increased pain, etc., or any other contraindications have been reported with the use of ALAVIS-Hemagel. The product must not be used after the expiry date which is stated on the tube. In case of side effects (increased pain, redness, etc. ) ) discontinue treatment and consult a veterinarian. The product is not intended for indoor use.
