This cable is designed to connect two audio-video devices equipped with an HDMI interface. It can be used e.g. with an HD-DVD, Blu-ray player or LCD TV. Shielded cable can transmit both digital high-quality audio and video it supports HDCP content protection. Naturally, it has integrated high-speed Ethernet transmission (formerly referred to as HDMI 1.4) according to the HDMI High Speed standards.
