Story Setting

Step into the shoes of the stylish tough guy Leon and travel to Spain to rescue Ashley - the kidnapped daughter of the American president. Resident Evil: Resistance (RECENZIA) – Pokusné králiky v zombie klietke

V žánri hororových hier ukoristil vavríny slávy za mesiac apríl do svojich pazúrov neodvratný Nemesis z remaku Resident Evil 3, ktorý avšak nezískal tak vrelé prijatie ako dvojka minulý rok. Napriek tomu sa nájdu fanúšikovia série, ktorí sú z akčnejšieho poňatia nadšení. A práve na nich by mal cieliť tiež Capcomom samostatne vyvíjaný asynchrónny multiplayer Resident Evil: Resistance, na ktorý sa pozrieme v dnešnej recenzii.

Maid of Sker (RECENZIA) – Tajomný hotel otvára svoje brány

V oblasti survival hororu nie je Wales Interactive nováčikom. Anglické štúdio do vôd žánru vstúpilo v roku 2017, kedy predstavilo titul Don‘t Knock Twice. Ten bol kompatibilný s okuliarmi pre virtuálnu realitu a v úlohe matky sa v ňom hráč pokúšal o záchranu dcéry. V Maid of Sker, najnovšom výtvore Wales Interactive, sa ocitneme v koži mladého muža vydávajúceho sa do hotela Sker, ktorý ovládli temné sily a uväznili jeho priateľku. Kritikmi oceňovaný a hráčmi milovaný Resident Evil 4 sa dočkal remaku. Nešlo navyše iba o presnú 1 : 1 modernizáciu grafiky a gameplayu – tvorcovia síce sľúbili, že „zachovajú podstatu pôvodnej štvorky“, ale zároveň chceli ponúknuť „čerstvý“ zážitok aj pre skalných fanúšikov tohto survival hororu, čo sa im z väčšej časti podarilo. Prvé tri diely série Resident Evil od spoločnosti Capcom síce majú veľmi jednoduchú premisu, ale hráči ju milujú už viac ako dvadsať rokov.
