Samyang 16mm T2.2 VDSLR II MFT
The manual, ultra-wide angle lens has superior optics in a compact body. Samyang 16 mm offers very low levels of distortion, professional optical performance and excellent maneuverability. Ultra wide and bright, the Samyang 16mm T2.2 ED AS UMC CS lens is optimised for cinematography with digital reflex cameras and mirrorless compact cameras with APS-C sensors. Samyang VDSLR lenses are fitted with decoupled apertures and rack-compatible gearing which provides effortless and accurate rotation of focus and aperture rings. This makes it suitable for shooting video. The lens boasts an aperture of F2,2, which produces detailed, lifelike pictures with realistic colours, even under poor lighting conditions.

Creative exposure
The focus gear ring is installed for professional follow focus system. You may change the aperture quietly and smoothly with the uncoupled aperture gear ring. The frame of Samyang 16mm T2.2 II is compact and solid since it is made of high-strength aluminum alloy so trustworthy images can be captured even under inferior environment.
Optics for realistic pictures
The lens has been designed with extreme care for detail. Its optics comprise 13 elements in 11 groups, including low-dispersion ED, aspherical and hybrid-aspherical elements. The optics feature multi-layer anti-reflective UMC coatings to ensure optimum light transmission. To facilitate the reading on the focus and aperture scale, both these indexes are marked in a parallel position to the optical axis of the lens. The Ultra Multi Coating on the lens minimizes flares and ghosting.
