Seasonic G Series power supply units are 80 Plus Gold certified, which is a certification awarded to power supply units with efficiency over 87%. The ATX (revision 2.3) unit has a 450 W maximum power output and features the obligatory active PFC. The intelligent S2FC thermal circuit system (Smart & Silent Fan Control) monitors the temperature and adjusts the fan speed to keep the optimal balance between cooling and noise levels. The unit’s high-quality capacitors are manufactured in Japan, guaranteeing longer service life than other power supply series.The unit’s connectivity includes an ATX connector 20+4 pin and 4+4 pin EPS12V cable, which are firmly connected to the device. Other cables, which include two 6+2 pin PCIe, 5x Molex, two FDD cables and six SATA connectors, are modular–they are attached separately. The power supply is equipped with a wide range of safety features in case of unexpected fluctuations in the mains supply (OVP, UVP, OPP, OCP, OTP, SCP), which are ready to intervene at any time.
