The Seasonic Platinum SS-660XP2 power supply boasts impressive efficiency, active Power Factor Correction (PCF) of 99%, and premium heavy-duty components. These include Japanese aluminum electrolytic capacitors, which can withstand temperatures of up to 105°C! The Platinum Series meets the second highest efficiency standard. At normal operating load it easily reaches up to 94% efficiency. Therefore it can effortlessly power multiple graphics cards at once, as well as first-class processors. The fully modular design means you have the option to use only the cables you need, keeping everything tidy.
The Seasonic Platinum SS-660XP2 features a unique DC connector panel with integrated VRM (voltage regulation module). This design ensures an almost perfect DC to DC conversion, which further optimises efficiency, while minimising voltage drops and impedance. The world-renowned Sanyo Denki ball bearing fan is manufactured from the highest quality components to ensure maximum performance and durability. The fan features specially shaped blades with perfectly smoothed edges to achieve perfect balance and even rotations. The strict tolerance ball bearings also contribute to the fan's ultra-low noise performance.
