The lightweight and Compact Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC MACRO OS HSM Lens uses a new optical design that consists of 16 optical elements in 14 groups. In the new Contemporary range, thermally stable composite materials are used to provide greater durability of the lens and its smaller size up to 30% over previous models.
This model is compatible with Nikon SLR cameras.

High lens luminance
The advantage of this lens is high f/2.8 brightness at 17mm focal length at f/4.0 on a 70mm focal point. Due to this, you can capture clear images and sharpen your focus in poor lighting conditions. The minimum focusing distance is 22cm and the maximum aspect ratio of 1:2.8 determines the use of a lens for all types of photos.
Quiet and fast autofocus
Quiet and fast autofocus is provided by an HSM engine that works on ultrasonic waves. If you want to gain maximum control over the scanned scene, you can easily switch the autofocus with the manual focus. Additionally, the lens includes advanced anti-reflection coatings, so the resulting photos have minimal incidence of colour defects and interfering reflexes.
