The premium EX-class telephoto lens, the well-known Japanese company Sigma, is the ideal universal focal-length zoom . It is suitable for both portrait photography and outdoor photography. The lens is equipped with a Super Multi Layer (SML) anti-reflective coating that minimises light reflections from the sensor. Chromatic aberration corrects apochromatic lenses with low scattering . Optical stabilisation in the body reduces the impact of camera shake on image sharpness.

It uses ultrasonic micromotors, typically with high speed and accuracy, which is also very quiet. The lens has an adjustable focal length of 70 to 200mm and f/2.8. Designed for both digital and conventional SLRs with a compatible Bayonet and APS-C size sensor. Also included is a removable sun visor .
