SparkFun Block for Intel Edison - microSD

Sparkfun Block is an extension for the Edison electronic kit, the Number one in desktop processors, Intel. It is an ultra-small computer platform that is used for entertaining technological experiments and real design work. The Intel Edison Breakout Board Kit is powered by an Intel Atom dual-core processor with integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB SSD storage, all built on a 3.5 x 2.5 cm unit.

Edison continues where Intel Arduino stopped, so when you learn how to design electronic circuits with Arduin, and its performance is no longer enough for you, then you go further - and Intel Edison is here waiting for you.

This extension comes with a micro SD port which you can use to connect SD cards so you can write the data of your projects for example. You can connect it to your Edison kit and quickly get to the data on the card.
