Sphero Force Band

Remote control with a range of 25m

Using this Force Band, you can control your Sphero BB-8 miniature drone with hand movements, mimicking the way in which Jedi Knights used the Force in the Star Wars movie saga. The bracelet connects to the droid via Bluetooth from a distance of up to 25m. You determine the direction of the droid's movement and it is immediately detected by the bracelet's built-in gyroscopic sensor.

One-hour battery life and adjustable strap

Force Band is powered by a battery lasting 60 minutes, and it can be easily recharged using the supplied USB cable to connect it to a computer, tablet, or AC adapter. The strap of the bracelet is a combination of magnet and velcro and its size can be adjusted to fit the child's wrist.

Speaker with authentic sound effects

The bracelet also features a tiny loudspeaker, playing authentic blaster or lightsaber sound effects. It is fully compatible with mobile phones and tablets running on Android and iOS, but you can also use it to control other Sphero drones.

Available control modes for the Sphero BB-8 drone

  • Droid Control - Control the drone by hand
  • Force Training - The BB-8 sound signals are used for combat training with an imaginary lightsaber
  • Combat Training - With the authentic lightsaber and blaster sound effects, you can create a battle simulation
  • Force Awareness - Search for hidden supplies belonging to the Resistance or collect Jedi artefacts, so-called Holocrons
