Behold the handy pocket knife from the famous Opinel company. The 'My First Opinel' series is designed for children. Its rounded tip prevents accidental injuries, while the stainless steel blade will last your child for years. The handle is made of hard white wood. The Opinel knives have a simple but effective Virobloc-lock system (VRI), which locks the blade open or closed.

Originally created in 1890, the Opinel knives gradually became a popular cult brand among pocket knife manufacturers. Presently, the Opinel knives are sold worldwide and the company produces an incredible 360 blades every hour.

Most of the wood used to make handles comes directly from France. The rest is made of exotic imported wood, used for the luxury knives (ebony, zebrawood, rosewood, etc.). The blades are made of quality Swedish steel.
