The device offers features that are needed for running, cycling, swimming and multisport training. The 3D compass setting will be invaluable if you get lost whilst you are out on an adventure. A GPS receiver is built directly into your watch, giving information about speed, distance and route. The heart rate monitor indicates how effective your training is and shows you your ideal zone. The altimeter is based on the principle of GPS. The watch has a battery life of up to 30 days without using GPS and 50 hours with GPS in use at 60-second intervals. The manufacturer has declared water resistance of up to 10 ATM. Your training data can be transferred to your computer and then shared, collected and analysed using Movescount, the leader in personal training diaries. It is possible to charge your watch using a USB cable. The package includes the watch, a USB power and connection cable, a comfortable HR Smart chest strap and a user manual. Specific features:

GPS - The watch is fully equipped with: GPS (SiRFIV v2.2), adjustable frequency GPS survey, measurement of your position in several coordinate systems, navigation along the route and waypoints, a means of recording your routes as well as creating points of interest (POI), and altitude functions including: altitude from GPS, an altitude chart, vertical speed according to GPS and total ascent and descent according to GPS.

Swimming - The device records the time taken to swim the length of a pool in split time and total time as well as your heart rate, pace, total distance, the number of lengths, the type and speed of the swim and more.

Running - Compare lap times after every kilometer, accurately measure the pace/speed of your run, run against a virtual opponent and running cadence is also possible with with Suunto Smart Sensors (not included).

Training - Measure your speed by GPS in addition to distance and pace, calories, heart rate limits (graph in real time) and average and maximum heart rate in real time. The watch also boasts a timer and an interval timer.

Multisport function - Multisport modes are pre-configured, so you can switch between sports when recording exercise.

Cycling - The device records your average and maximum performance, split timing, power cycling at intervals of 3s, 10s, 30s. NB. Suunto Smart sensor is not included and must be purchased separately.

Recovery time and activities - The device monitors daily activities for a more complete estimate of your total recovery time.
