Waveboard combines the elements of a skateboard and a snowboard. It consists of two separate boards that are coupled together with the torsion bar. It only has two wheels and contributes greatly to the development of balance. Instead of propelling it with your feet, you move it with your hips.
When choosing waveboard we recommend focusing on the following parameters:

Caster
The main component of the waveboard in which the wheel is mounted. It is rotatable by 360 ° and bears the greatest share of load during movement.
In some cheaper waveboards it is not replaceable. We recommend you rather pay a bit extra for a waveboard with a removable caster.
Having quality bearings is important. These are usually marked ABEC 5 and higher. If you find that it jams when turning, it is time to replace it.
A centre-curved board gives you better stability and is easier to handle when doing tricks.
Wheels
The most suitable diameter - 78 to 80 mm.
Hardness - 88A. Generally speaking, the higher the number, the greater hardness. Harder wheels are faster and are subject to less wear. However, they have lower adhesion to the surface. The wear really depends primarily on your riding style and the type of surface you ride on.
Stop surfaces
The safety element positioned at the bottom of the waveboard prevents the rider from leaning too much when making sharp turns or performing tricks and therefore reduces the risk of falling.
Capacity
The bigger, the better - at least 90 kg. Remember that the rider's weight is distributed only on two wheels, and this leads to a much greater wear of the individual parts than the on the skateboard.
When jumping or riding on one wheel, the load multiplies and may cause breakage of plastic.
Weight
If you're planning to perform tricks or travel with your waveboard often, look for the lightest model. If you just ride most of the time, then you will find the differences in weight negligible.
