This »all in one« wide-range zoom lens for Nikon SLR with focus to 300mm is equipped with innovative technologies. Improved construction, and the arrangement of the components and materials used are brought together with a compact ultrasound sharpening AF PZD motor (Piezo Drive) in a small and light body weighing only 540g. The design has been improved with a tungsten ring.

What has been maintained, however, is the high standard of quality, supported by advanced optical design including 4 LD glass, three molded aspherical elements and other elements. You can control the effective compensation of optical aberrations, and suppression of reflections on the lens element surfaces to minimize unwanted flare and ghosting for perfect results.

The patented VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism gives users the advantage of compensating for camera shake, so you can take photos »out of hand« even in situations where it would be necessary to use a tripod. The minimum focal distance of the lens is 49cm. The sealed structure is moisture resistant, an added benefit when shooting outdoors.
