Electronic household amplifier Picocom 560542 LTE

The Picocom 560542 LTE can be used as a small household amplifier to boost the VHF/UHF signal in residential wiring. Its main benefit is the automatic settings that prevent overcharging of the amplifier. The amplifier suppresses the LTE band. It is not equipped with any manual control elements. The setting is an old AGC circuit, which takes two functions. It prevents overcharging of the amplifier (the number of channel sets the maximum output level) and also maintains the set output level (if the input signal level is sufficient).

The automatic output level of the amplifier is determined by the number of amplified channels and the maximum gain of the amplifier (20dB in the UHF band and 10dB in the VHF band). E.g. for 6 DVB-T channels, the output level is set to max. 95dBuV. The amplifier allows the power of the preamplifier to be +12V/150mA. The power supply to the input can be switched on/off via the switch on the rear of the amplifier. The Picocom is very small and has low power consumption (max. 3.7 W).
