TERN Verge P20

Tern was founded in 2011 and has been one of the leaders in the field of folding bikes ever since. All bikes feature original design, exceptional features, and increased durability of the DoubleTruss frame or folding mechanism design. The TERN Verge P20 is a fast, light model with many advanced technologies, like the OCL Joint folding mechanism, which is up to two times tighter, and the Igus bearings which work smoothly to minimize torsional motion. The mechanism is additionally safe thanks to the Double AutoLok system. N-fold (N-Fold) Technology allows for much faster folding in three easy steps.

There is also a double-deck with a 10-degree cassette on the rear hub. This model uses plenty of gears, so you can go up steep hills with ease or fly on the flats, all while shifting smoothly. A great advantage is the presence of the Luggage Socket in the handlebars. When you affix the Luggage Truss to the Luggage Socket, sporty becomes functional, allowing you to attach practical accessories like carriers, bags, or fenders. Any KlickFix compatible accessory will work. 

The base is a solid frame

The special DoubleTruss frame technology is much more resilient to torsion forces. It promises a long service life and excellent driving performance. This is an Achilles' heel for some manufacturers, but not for Tern. The Physis 3D Handlepost boasts a massive construction made of one piece of aluminum. Inside, Igus bearings are fitted with a rubber seal for even longer life. The bike is designed to be fully dealer serviceable so replacing parts can be done in minutes.

Fixed connection

The bike is equipped with 20" Schwalbe Kojak tires for a fast, smooth ride. Magnetix 2.0 is the successor to the first generation Magnetix coupling system and keeps the wheel in a folded position under all conditions. The new magnets provide up to 300% more power and their connection is much more reliable and stronger.
