Non-stop operation
The hard drive is designed to withstand high temperatures of continuous operation. The SilkStream feature enables the HDD to work with up to five HD streams and optimises their simultaneous storage. Western Digital have also tested AV-25's compatibility with a variety of AV products, including DVD recorders and major security systems manufacturers.
Save energy
Innovative technologies have helped to reduce the power consumption of the hard drive to an amazing 1.4 watts. In addition, the AV-25 is almost inaudible and features a great thermal management, which is reflected in the MTBF (mean time between failures) reaching up to 1 million hours.
