Diffuser

The diffuser nozzle is a type of attachment for hairdryers and it helps to disperse the warm air evenly across the head, drying the curls or giving the hair more volume without making it frizzy.

The only safety element in the contents of the hair dryer is a thermal fuse. This fuse automatically shuts off the hair dryer in the event of overheating and prevents it from turning on again until the hair dryer has cooled and returned to a safe operating temperature.

Tourmaline surface

The interior structure of some hair dryers are lined with turmaline - a mineral that is electrostatically charged at higher temperatures, generating negative ions. This material dries hair faster and leaves it smooth and shiny.

DC-PRO motor

The modern DC-PRO universal motor can create a very intense airflow, as an AC motor can, but it has a lighter design than the AC motor. The estimated life of a DC-PRO motor is 1200 hours.

AC motor

Universal AC motors are used in professional hair dryers. They are able to create an intense flow of air and have the benefit of a long service life. The estimated engine life is 2000 hours.

Hanging Loop

The hanging loop located at the end of the handle of a hair dryer is used to store the device in a hanging position. It's a great addition for those who do not have much space in the bathroom, allowing it to be stored within easy reach.

Comb Nozzle

The comb nozzle is an attachment used for lifting and combing hair while drying it. It gives the hair volume from the roots and it is usually included with more expensive hair dryers.

Concentrator

The concentrator, shaping tip, or crimping nozzle is the name for the attachment that is used to direct the airflow from the hairdryer to where you need it. Its opening is very thin and wide, so it is suitable for styling over a flat or round brush. The concentrator is part of the basic equipment for professional hair dryers, but you can also find it included with most hairdryers made for use at home.
