The Ubbink AlgClear UV-C unit keeps the pond water clean and free of microbes. It emits UV light that destroys the microbes responsible for algae growth. The unit can be used in a 2500 litre pond with fish and a 5000 litre pond without fish. At the inlet, the water is put into rotational movements around the UV-C lamp via a spiral inside the shell, which allows longer and especially more efficient irradiation of the water.
