The hose seems long enough at first glance, but it is not long enough for the tank. I pumped a few dcl, maybe a litre, through the tank entrance, then the hose was not enough (I had slightly above half the tank, if you have below half, you have to go another way). So I disassembled the rear seats and put a hose under the float. During another brutal squeeze, even though I was trying to position all the components involved to make it self-propelled, I pumped about 4l (my forearm was so hard I could break bottles with it). Then I gave up and hooked up the hose to the pump hose (in front of the float basket) and pumped it with the pump (key in the ignition). The hose is enough for that. As a strengthening tool, it's ok. As a tool for pumping fuel from the tank in the normal way, it is not enough.
