Burnout is a state of complete physical and mental exhaustion with possible serious health consequences. This book was written by well-known psychiatrist MUDr. Radkin Honzák for people who are under strong stressors and who could burn out candidates quite easily.
Burnout or burn out is a state of complete physical and mental exhaustion with possible serious health consequences. Who burned had to burn before. He had to be passionate about his - mostly humanitarian - activity. But if we light a candle on both ends, we get twice as much light, but it burns out in half the time.
“If you find yourself in a situation where the flames of your enthusiasm are about to digest you, some change is necessary. And all you can change is you alone. This is stupid! And hard! But it is the only truly effective solution and worth it - at any age! ”Says MUDr. Radim Honzák.
Rather than advice such as "do it - do not do" dr. Honza focuses on how to walk happily and avoid the traps that - oddly enough - we set on ourselves most ardently, most often, most and most effectively. For no one is making a greater mistake than one who does nothing in believing that little he / she can do is meaningless, completely closing down the opportunities to learn and change something.
A lively and popular book describes what burnout is and how it is born, it also provides tables with the possibility of "scoring" in our particular situation, but mainly helps to find a way out of this mess.
"The book about burn-out is like a word to shame and prevention is more than right, because most people will notice that it is flying only when it's really flying and it's too late to chase. I like Mr. Honzák he writes, in his words, he feels healthy humor, life's insight and a great deal of experience. "
