The embarrassment of buying, on the one hand 8 years behind, on the other successful and modern. There are mistakes in the design, then one could try to forgive other mistakes.
Resume: If it wasn' t so big, I would return it and go to compete with Sa. or Sat.
Good sound on the TV, but you can' t even remotely compete with an average soundbar + sub.
GoogleTV - there is no need to avoid the arch anymore, the site works fine.
Overall quality of workmanship - simply designed & made in China
LocalDimming - there is a lot of competition here. It' s not about the number of segments, but about working with them. either the relevant scene is underlit or overlit - the fact that it will pull your eyes is not ok.
Layout of the input/output - a tragedy, if you want to destroy close to the wall, you are wrong, the cables will lead you from the edge of the TV to the center - no back corridor/slab like with Sony, etc.
Rear sub placement. repro. someone really invented this. there is a VESA holder exactly in the place where the platform is attached, so you have to search for a suitable holder with difficulty, or support the structure with a sub-repro projection, which is still accessible from the wall.
Too much minimum brightness. Yes, even when the brightness is set to 0, the image is too bright at night, when calibrating with the aim of reducing " night brightness", the gamma is lost. Hope they burn out soon.
The new version of the X2 has 2.5GB of RAM. if you want a reasonable stream cache, there won' t be much room left.
