I was looking for a microphone independent of any particular headset or type of headphones, and I found a good one.
At first I was a bit startled that the strong magnet on the base interacts with the transducers on the headphones themselves (on open headphones with mesh this is just likely to happen). However, according to the information on the Internet, it cannot achieve a power that would somehow affect the resulting sound.
No need to be tied to any specific "headset" if you don't want a big microphone on your desk
The base holds firmly. According to the instructions on the internet, it is supposedly possible to use the glue on it several times after washing with water
The magnet on the base is very strong, so even the microphone on the base is like nailed
Includes a nice carrying case, 2 bases, even one replacement adhesive for the base
The sound quality for classic Discord or conference calls is absolutely sufficient.
A bit high price for what it can do
With some headphones the microphone may be too short, I placed the base of the 660S2 almost at the end of the muffle, and it has a reasonable range to the mouth
The physical switch to turn off the input from the microphone produces an obnoxious sound. Discord will filter it out with its magic, but for other programs I recommend software mute first.
